Episode Notes

For once I will give ground to a disclaimer: I am not a doctor/dietician/nutritionist/licensed physician of any variety. What I am presenting in this body of work is a synthesis of the thoroughly investigated and highly effective efforts of Weston A. Price and the foundation in his illustrious name.

This is not to serve as medical advice, but instead, as a presentation to promote a sustainable perspective of how we can nourish ourselves AND heal the Earth that provides our abundance.

I have to say that the trope to "eat healthy" is much too vague to be worth anything in the arena of advice. What makes something healthy? How often and how much? Where do I find these healthy foods? What is safe to eat in its present forms?

I may not answer the depths of those questions in this first episode, but suffice it to say that this exploration into these principles will be a reliable roadmap for any journey toward vitality and long-life.

My recent visit to a local regenerative farm was a delightful mirror to this endeavor: connecting with the humans who invest their money, sweat, wisdom into cultivating the genuine nutrients that give us more than energy. I will be sharing more about this visit, but it was a special experience to be in the element of an organic, regenerative farm that honors these traditions set forth by Dr. Price.
