EP 1 - What Would Courage Do?

Episode Summary

In the inaugural launch of "Who's to Say? with Tom Foolery", our host explores the ways in which we can put courage into action.

Episode Notes

I don't think there is a better question to commence our journey together...

This one has been on my mind every day since the start of this year. Time and again, with each novel adversity or daunting event, I have to wonder when the time will come for us to adopt a more courageous course to change our unsustainable ways. There are no clear answers, but in the words of the legendary physicist and man-of-the-world, Richard Feynman, "I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned."

In this first episode, I share some answers that came to me whenever I contemplated what it means to be courageous. The three pillars of this ideal are: stepping out of the path of least resistance; sacrifice; and embracing compassion. Thanks to the works and words of Paul Chek, Fr. Anthony de Mello, Alan Watts, and more, I can 'stand on the shoulders of giants'

So, thank you for joining me. I admire your courage in doing so...
